Dear Parents/Guardians

School is rapidly approaching. In just a few short weeks your child/children will be back in class (or in the case of our three year olds, entering school for the first time) I’m sure the return of school will put a smile on your faces, and hopefully on the faces of your children.

The first day of school is Thursday, August 21st , for students in grades K-8th. Students will be dismissed at 12:00p.m. Friday August 22nd is also an early dismissal for students K-8th grade. Students need to be in uniform on the first day of school. The first full day of school for students in grades K-8th is Monday August 25th. Dismissal will be at 2:35p.m.

The first day of school for Preschoolers will be Monday, August 25th. This day will be an early dismissal for the Preschoolers. Tuesday August 26th will also be an early dismissal for the Preschoolers. The first full day for our Preschoolers will be Wednesday August 27th.

Extended Day Care will be available for any student who needs it on Monday August 25th. This does include the Preschool students for any of the half days in question. As a footnote, I am looking for 1 person who would like to work with Mrs. Rosa in Extended Care on a part time Basis. If you are interested please contact me or the school office.

Please plan on attending the Parent Night meeting on Thursday, August 28th beginning at 7:00p.m. I will talk briefly, then you will have the opportunity to meet your child’s teacher.
